Case Description
Lost teeth to perio which has been taken care of and gums are fully healed. Have some bone loss in the area but I was told implant might be an option. Also have some mobility in the two teeth to the right and left of the missing teeth which are currently bonded together. I feared dentists due to childhood experiences which is what caused my perio. I want my smile back but don't want to be left with nothing to smile about (a huge bill).

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

It is hard to provide the information you are looking for (costs/answers to your questions about possibilities, etc).I think your are talking about a partial denture rather than a bridge. One is permanently fixed in the mouth (bridge) and the other is removable (partial denture). The decision that you need to make is what you are going to sacrifice. If your value is centered on a good financial deal in the immediate future you will have to sacrifice the fit, function, longevity, and self-confidence by choosing the cheaper option ... a partial denture. If your value is centered on the things that are lost to the partial, you will have to sacrifice money. This would be saving teeth and using implants.Dentistry has changed, so the sooner you can give up this unfounded fear, the sooner you can accept what you CAN do to live a good life.

i would be glad to look at you and discuss the options, advantages and disadvantages of all of the choices of treatment. yet, if teeth are loose, a fixed bridge does not sound like a realistic option. if you call my office, cathi can make you an appointment for a consult. there will not be a charge. please bring the xrays.we are really good at what we do. not just the dentistry, but we are successful at making you comfortable. i have had many patients who were always terrified and now don''''t find it difficult.they don''''t love it, but they like to smile and laugh as i entertain them.any additional questions, feel free to call.dr. citrin 887-8771
