Case Description
I am looking for a dentist for my mother. She does not like the painfull shots when getting a cavity and was wondering if any dentists use laughing gas or some other kind of sedative.

Most shots can be given with very little discomfort now days. There is some technique and compassion that can improve the situation. If your mother is elderly, choose someone that has easy access for her. Most dentists are very very good. Choose one that you will have a good relationship with. Start with referrals from friends. It is good to have recommendations from others that have experienced some treatment.Lan Allen DMD
